Event Description Join us for the Festival on the Prairie on Thursday, August 6, 5:00-8:00 pm. There will be music by Annie and the Oakies, three local food carts from FEED Kitchen with food for purchase, children’s activities, garden and prairie tours, beer and soft drinks for purchase and free ice cream. Prayer in the spirit of the Taizé community is a meditative form of common prayer. Gathered in the presence of Christ, we sing uncomplicated, repetitive songs, allowing the mystery of God to become tangible through the beauty of simplicity and invoking the Holy Spirit to enter our prayer. Schedule 6:00 pm – Taizé will begin Cost and Registration There is no cost to attend the Taizé prayer, but please register below by May 21st so we may plan accordingly.

An attentive hush fell over the audience as the lush strains of Sergei Rachmaninoff’s Symphony No. 2 in E minor drew us together in wonder, a fellowship of listeners.
