Join Kids On the Prairie as we check out a Bluebird nest and look for other signs of nesting birds. Find foods that birds feed their nestlings. Forest Therapy and Forest Bathing

Forest bathing (shinrin-yoku) is the practice of “bathing” in the atmosphere of the forest, absorbing health benefits from nature and entering into a deep communion with the environment. We will adapt this practice for a slow-paced hour-long walk and exploration at Holy Wisdom Monastery. Please wear walking shoes and dress for being outdoors. Wisdom Prairie Winter Tour

Experience the seasonal beauty of Wisdom Prairie by coming out to explore the winter landscape. Experienced tour guides will lead small groups on routes of varying length through the restored prairies, savannas and woodlands of Holy Wisdom Monastery. If snow conditions permit, we will have some snowshoes available to borrow. All are welcome.
