Introducing a new look for our website at www.benedictinewomen.org “I found the site easy to navigate and the content easy to read. The large layout with great pictures and focused text was inviting. I particularly liked the active pictures, showing sisters and others from the extended communities praying, working in the garden, working in the prairie, gathered around the dinner table, etc. These kinds of photos communicate the richness of the interaction between all the members of the monastic community and the community of communities. The communications department at Holy Wisdom Monastery recently switched mass email providers to Vertical Response. The main reason we switched was to save money, although Vertical Response offers some handy features that we are excited about as well. With the launch of the new Holy Wisdom Monastery website, we have many upgrades to be proud of. One of the new features is having a Real Simple Syndicate Feed, or RSS Feed for short. RSS feeds allow people to see headlines from their favorite news sources, and then the ability to click on those headlines to read the entire article or blog post.  Many websites allow you to subscribe to their RSS feed, such as National Public Radio, the New York Times, ESPN.com – and now, Holy Wisdom Monastery!  In our case, this will allow users to see new …
