Service at 3:00 pm All gather in silence. The liturgy features the Passion of John. With simple chant, the cross is brought into the midst of the community. Through the veneration of the cross and prayers of intercession, we respond to the Passion of Jesus.
Service at 7:00 pm, followed by social We gather to hear the stories of salvation history. The liturgy continues with the lighting of the new fire and the Easter candle. The Exsultet is sung followed by the Liturgy of the Word, culminating in the great “Alleluia” and the Easter Gospel. The Easter water is blessed, then all join in the profession of faith.
