Please join us for Palm Sunday worship. The Blessing of Palms & Procession begins our Sunday Assembly Eucharist. The Passion reading of the Gospel of Matthew is proclaimed.
Kids On the Prairie explorations are for children and their adult family members. They are open to members of Holy Wisdom communities and the public. Volunteers from Sunday Assembly and Friends of Wisdom Prairie provide support for each session. On April 2, we will look for signs of emergent plants, animals and insects. Depending on the weather, we may find nectar sources for emerging bumble bees. We'll look for food sources available to other over-wintering creatures. Please join us for Holy Thursday worship. 5:00 pm – Social & hors d’oeuvres 6:00 pm – Service We gather to share the Word, serve each other in the washing of feet and share in the Eucharist. Our collection will assist local food pantries. The liturgy concludes with time for silent prayer.
Please join us for Good Friday worship. All gather in silence. The liturgy features the Passion of John. With simple chant, the cross is brought into the midst of the community. Through the veneration of the cross and prayers of intercession, we respond to the Passion of Jesus.
Please join us for the Easter Vigil. 7:00 pm – Worship 8:00 pm – Social & hors d’oeuvres follows worship service We gather to hear the stories of salvation history. The liturgy continues with the lighting of the new fire and the Easter candle. The Exsultet is sung followed by the Liturgy of the Word, culminating in the great “Alleluia” and the Easter Gospel. The Easter water is blessed, then all join in the profession of faith. The Liturgy of the Eucharist follows.
