Benedictine spirituality aims at helping people lead a balanced life. A few basic practices can lay a foundation for centeredness through life’s ups and downs. This event will introduce participants to the Benedictine understanding of balance. Participants will engage in spiritual practices including centering prayer, lectio divina, manual labor, and awareness of the sacredness of all creation. The class consists of presentation, discussion, experiencing the practices and shared reflection.
