Learn how to practice Benedictine hospitality through respectful communication, and open up your life by turning outward. Join us for a Day Away to make space for hospitality and explore this Benedictine value and the many ways it brings meaning to life.
Retreat leaders
Lisa Nelson is a pastor in the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America and has been an oblate of Holy Wisdom Monastery since 2004. She serves at Faith Lutheran Church in Columbus Wisconsin, teaches Christian theology, and is a water aerobics instructor.
Judy Nolde has been an oblate of Holy Wisdom Monastery since 2004. She serves as a deacon in the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America and is a chaplain at Central WI Center. She is also a spiritual director, retreat leader, and artist.
