Both the Evolutionary Consciousness sessions on March 18 and April 1, 2020 have been postponed due to the coronavirus
In these two presentations, we will take a long loving look at who the human species is and who we need to become in this 21st century as the Universe evolves. Our intent in the presentations and conversations is to awaken our consciousness more fully to all that humankind is and can become. You may attend one or both of the dates and choose lunch or dinner (both lunch and dinner programs are the same on the same date).
Registration closed for the March 18 programs
March 18, 2020, 11:45 am-1:30 pm or 5:00-7:00 pm (choose lunch or dinner)
Part 1 What is Evolutionary Consciousness in Light of the Human Species?
We will look anew at how the emergence of Homo Sapiens two hundred thousand years ago was a bright, celebrative moment in the evolutionary process. We will open our eyes today to the awareness of humanity as a beautiful creation in the Universe. As an integral part of the cosmos, all are in relationship with a capacity to know, live, love and create. Our species is a significant presence in the web of life.
April 1, 2020, 11:45 am-1:30 pm or 5:00-7:00 pm (choose lunch or dinner)
Part 2 The Responsibility of the Human Species in Light of Evolutionary Consciousness
This presentation will explore where the human species is right now, what the place of humankind is and what will sustain our kind in the movement forward. Joanna Macy names where humankind is right now with these words, “Now, in this very time, these three rivers—anguish for the world, scientific breakthroughs and ancestral teachings flow together.” The power of evolving consciousness continues to awaken us to what it means to be alive on a living planet in this 21st century.
