Prairie Planting Workday

Come and help the Benedictine sisters care for the earth. Enjoy one of the most pleasurable and meaningful parts of ecological restoration—planting a new prairie. Help plant 99 different kinds of prairie seeds under the guidance of Ron Endres and Greg Armstrong. We will be planting into an old field of grass south of the white house and on an old trail in the North Mendota Wildlife Area.
