Family, Outreach and Social Justice Ministries Pastoral care, social justice, new members, children and families, climate, hospitality, Luke House, MOSES, Kids on the Prairie – all of these ministries provide for the varied spiritual and educational needs of children, youth and adults. Outdoor Tour & Friends of Wisdom Prairie Caring for the earth is part of our mission, rooted in Benedictine values of stability and respect for all of creation. Learn through a tour of the land about the history of land restoration at Holy Wisdom Monastery and be inspired by the beauty of prairie, woodlands and Lost Lake. Rain date: July 31, 2022          

Spiritual Growth Opportunities Including the Oblate Community In addition to Sunday liturgies, spiritual life is nourished through experiences such as daily Liturgy of the Hours, Centering Prayer, retreats, classes and workshops. The Oblates of Holy Wisdom Monastery, totaling nearly 150 members, form an ecumenical learning community of people who are diverse in backgrounds, ages and faith traditions. The Oblates find guidance in the Rule of Benedict and help one another to integrate Benedictine spirituality into their lives. Come learn about the vibrant Oblate community.          

Holy Wisdom Monastery Annual Meeting All are welcome to join the Holy Wisdom Monastery Annual Meeting, Sunday, Oct. 23 from 10:15 – 11:30 am. In the past this has been an annual meeting for Sunday Assembly. This year we include all the communities of community – we hope you can attend in person or via livestream.
