The transformed heart
What does it mean to embrace and follow a spiritual path with personal integrity? In this six-session exploration of the complex relationship between personal spirituality and religious belonging we will read Tom Zanzig’s book, The Transformed Heart. Using contemplative dialog, lectio divina, and open conversation, our aim is for participants to reflect on their own experience of seeking a spirituality to ground their lives, whether that is outside organized religion or within a religious community. Spiritual transformation is a lifelong journey. Together we will engage the adventure of being both spiritual and religious.
