Prairie Seed Collecting Workday

Join the Friends of Wisdom Prairie for a special Saturday workday.  We will be carrying out one of the most important tasks of the year: collecting prairie seed. 

Ron Endres and Greg Armstrong will teach you how to collect the seeds and provide appropriate equipment for this enjoyable and important activity.

Please bring work gloves, sturdy shoes and dress for typical September weather. If you are sensitive to sun you may also want to bring sunscreen. We will have a break half way through the morning where we can have some snacks and water and conversation with our work mates.

It would be a pleasure to have you come and spend some time with us as we care for the earth together! All are welcome.
