Kids On the Prairie explorations are for children and their adult family members. They are open to members of Holy Wisdom communities and the public. Volunteers from Sunday Assembly and Friends of Wisdom Prairie provide support for each session.
At Holy Wisdom, this is the Year of Balance. As we strive for awareness of the delicate balance that allows diverse forms of life to exist, we will learn about our role as humans who care for the earth.
May is a good time to explore around Lost Lake. As we hike to the lake, we’ll look for signs of animals that live nearby and we’ll listen for frogs. We may see ducks and some newly arrived birds. Binoculars will be available. A close look at water samples will show us that beneath the water is a world of life, a smorgasbord for everything else.
