Group Spiritual Direction: An Introduction and Exploration

Whether you are new to group spiritual direction or wish to explore it further, this series of mornings is an introduction to group spiritual direction as prayer. Intended for people who want to explore their relationship with God, learn from listening deeply to others, and hold one another for the purpose of grounding and growth in Love. Each session will end with a reflection time. Silence will be threaded throughout each morning.

Leaders:

Carla Peterson is a member of Spiritual Directors International and a trained spiritual director with a certificate from Shalem Institute for Spiritual Formation in 2008. She has provided spiritual direction for individuals and groups since 2006. She is a psychotherapist, with experience with both individuals and groups and is an Oblate and member of Sunday Assembly at Holy Wisdom Monastery.

Liz Morris holds a MA in Christian Spirituality from Loyola University, Chicago and is a former psychotherapist with more than 20 years of experience with individuals and groups. She will receive a certificate from Shalem Institute in Leading Contemplative Prayer Groups and Retreats in 2018 and is an Oblate and member of Sunday Assembly at Holy Wisdom Monastery.
