Ecumenism: the Truth as One
In this, the 500 year anniversary of the Reformation, we experience and explore the many voices of Christianity, and the call of the monastery to be grounded in (unity) ecumenism. Come for one or more sessions. All are welcome. $30/lunch.

March 21, 2018 | Always Reforming—a Journey of Renewal
Leaders:
Judy Nolde, Deacon, works as a chaplain for Triangle Community Ministry. She is also a spiritual director. She is a lifelong Lutheran (ELCA), having grown up in Lutheran churches in central Illinois and also Geneva, Switzerland. She also attended a Lutheran college and law school, Valparaiso University. However, she has deep interests in ecumenism reflected in her life as a Benedictine oblate and a master’s degree from Loyola Institute of Pastoral Studies.
Ken Smith is a retired Lutheran (ELCA) pastor, most recently serving St. John’s Lutheran Church in downtown Madison. Ken is a lifelong Lutheran (ELCA), attended Wartburg College and Trinity Lutheran Seminary. He has served three churches in South-Central Wisconsin, and also worked at the ELCA churchwide headquarters in Chicago in Christian education. He also has interests in ecumenism. He has an advanced certificate from Boston College in religious education.
