Holiday Fair & Angel Tea

The Holiday Fair and Angel Tea is rapidly becoming a tradition to usher in the holiday season! Mark your calendar for Sunday, November 6, 2016 as Holy Wisdom Monastery hosts two special events to begin your holiday festivities.
The Holiday Fair provides a wide variety of treasures to please anyone on your shopping list. Shoppers will find gems including artwork, home décor, jewelry, collectibles, Christmas decorations, handmade crafts, and many other unique items that will bring a smile to the recipient—or to you as you find that special item you have been searching for! Get a head start on Christmas baking by taking home some delicious cookies, bars, breads, and candies already prepared for you! The Holiday Fair will be held in the monastery building Sunday, November 6 from noon until 3 PM. Everyone is welcome.
The Angel Tea is a delightful way to spend an hour with family and friends and enjoy an English tradition that has been around for centuries. In addition to tea, hot chocolate, and warm apple cider, try a smoked salmon, cucumber, olive pecan, or apricot ham sandwich. Finish the tea with a variety of pastries such as mincemeat tarts, scones, lemon bars, baklava, and five different kinds of cookies. Everyone from children to older adults are invited to enjoy this holiday event.
Tickets are $15/adult and $6/child, ages 10 and under. Seating times for the tea are
- 10:45-11:45 am
- 12:00-1:00 pm (full)
- 1:30-2:30 pm
- 2:45-3:45 pm
All remaining seating times are open to the public.
