The Benedictine Women of Madison Board of Trustees is the newest entity in the governing structure of the monastery. The Trustees are responsible for ensuring the financial well-being of Holy Wisdom Monastery.

In 2026, they plan to form an investment advisory committee that will serve to guide the Trustees in their review of investment strategies and performance of the investment management firms.

Joint Memorandum of Understanding Coordinating Committee

(previously the Finance Committee)

The purpose of the Joint Committee is to coordinate the implementation of the Comprehensive Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the Board of Trustees, Sisters Division and Ministries Division. This work includes but is not limited to coordinating all budgetary, capital improvement, fundraising and communication needs.
