The Fat Babies
The 2019 Prairie Rhapsody benefit concert features The Fat Babies, a seven piece vintage jazz band from Chicago. They will perform classic jazz standards from the 1920s and 1930s for the listening delight of all who attend.
The event will begin at 5:30 pm with an open reception of sumptuous hors d’oeuvres and beverages. The music will begin at 6:30 pm and continue until 8:00 pm with one intermission. This evening of entertainment also includes a Wine-Pull.
Performers
The Fat Babies are a seven piece jazz band interpreting classic styles of the 1920s and 30s. Founded in 2010 by string bass player Beau Sample, its members include Andy Schumm (cornet), John Otto (reeds), Dave Bock (trombone), John Donatowicz (banjo and guitar), Paul Asaro (piano), and Alex Hall (drums).

$50/adult; $20/child under 18

Participate in this year’s wine pull at Prairie Rhapsody! At a wine pull, individuals purchase a numbered cork that corresponds with a specific bottle of wine that is theirs to keep. Wines will vary from inexpensive, medium range to top quality bottles. Everyone wins!
