Rivers and Drifts: Natural Processes and Patterns in Designed Places
Join the Friends of Wisdom Prairie for this virtual lecture This talk will explore how we can celebrate the patterns and processes of wild landscapes, and mimic them in the context of intentionally-designed gardens and landscapes. We will see examples of landscapes that Darrel has designed, drawing on inspiration from naturally-evolving landscapes. These will include the Native Plant Garden at the UW-Madison Arboretum, as well as the Native Flora Garden in the Brooklyn Botanic Garden and The Old Stone Mill site in the New York Botanical Garden, among others.
