The rhythm of Benedictine monastic life – work\, study\, prayer\, rest – is a rhythm of balance that can bring depth and peace to our days. Come listen to Benedict and each other with the ears of your heart; explore the challenges and the gifts of living a life of balance and moderation. \n\nThese sessions are open to any adult who relates to any of the Holy Wisdom Monastery communities.

Come explore with us these symbols and texts\, enliven your spiritual imagination\, be part of a contemplative community as your Lenten practice this year. \nSchedule\nEach 90-minute session will include a flow of teachings\, readings\, small group conversations\, large group sharings and contemplative silence. \nDates/Times – Lent 2026\nThis is a 5-part series\, offered in-person at Holy Wisdom Monastery on Tuesdays from 10:00-11:30 am\, and online on Wednesdays from 6:30-8:00 pm. \nIn-Person at Holy Wisdom Monastery – 10:00 – 11:30 am \n\nFeb. 24\nMar. 3\nMar. 10\nMar. 17\nMar. 24\n\n\n11:45 am – Midday Prayer: All are welcome to join the sisters’ community and guests for communal prayer in the Oratory (lower level of the monastery building). Click to learn more about prayer at Holy Wisdom Monastery.\n12:00 pm – Lunch ($19): Enjoy a delicious meal prepared fresh by our chefs. DESCRIPTION:Centering Prayer Groups \nAll are welcome to join our two centering prayer groups which meet on alternating Wednesdays.
