DESCRIPTION:Have you volunteered with Holy Wisdom Monastery? We want to thank you! Please join us for our Volunteer Appreciation Lunch at Holy Wisdom Monastery on April 9\, 2026. This is the sisters’ and coworkers’ way of expressing our gratitude for all the time and effort you have generously given to our communities. We hope you can join us for a delicious meal and some well-deserved recognition for your hard work. This lunch is open to all monastery volunteers\, including those who support our communities (Oblates\, Friends of Wisdom Prairie\, Sunday Assembly\, Center for Clergy Renewal) and those who support our general operations (kitchen\, front desk\, committees\, board\, etc.). \nReservations will be accepted until April 2nd. \nSchedule\n11:45 am – Midday prayer (optional) \n12:00 pm – Lunch is served \n12:30 pm – Comments/thanks \nCost\nMonastery volunteers are invited to a free lunch. \nRegister\nPlease register below for this event by April 2\, 2026\, so we know how much food to prepare.

DESCRIPTION:Each year\, 18 pastors from across the country come to Holy Wisdom to experience a Contemplative Immersion. As they enter the beauty of the prairie\, the prayerful rhythms of the monastery\, and the rich Benedictine welcome of the community\, they are met by a grace that is life-changing. At this Gratitude Brunch\, you will have a chance to hear how they have been impacted by their time at Holy Wisdom Monastery and perhaps remember the ways that Holy Wisdom also holds and graces your own life! Come to get to know them\, celebrate this ministry\, and be nourished by a shared meal and a shared sense of God’s presence in this place! \nSchedule \n\n10:00-10:20 am – Transition from Sunday Assembly and get food\n10:20 am – Welcome\n10:30 am – Pastors share\n\nRegister\nPlease register by June 20\, 2026.
