Luke House
On the second Tuesday of each month members of Holy Wisdom Monastery participate in preparing, serving and sharing a meal at Luke House. We normally serve a vegetarian lasagna dinner, complete with salad, bread, and cookies, but during the pandemic the menu has changed to cold sandwiches, fruit, cut veggies, packaged chips, desserts, bottled water and hot coffee. Our community of donors and volunteers covers the cost of this meal and prepares 120-150 brown bag dinners, which costs about $350 per month. Benedictine Spirituality: An Introduction
Program full – we will offer again in 2021 Are you hungering for spiritual conversation? Do you have a general sense of what Benedictine spirituality is and where it comes from but are curious to know more? Join us for Holy Wisdom Monastery’s first completely virtual class. We will meet online weekly for one month, take a two-week break for reflection and integration, then pick up again for four more weeks.
