Spiritual Direction as Contemplative Practice

Within each of us lies a yearning and a deep desire to find meaning in our lives, grow closer to God, and come to know our True Self. Since the earliest centuries of Christianity, spiritual ammas and abbas (mothers and fathers) have served as spiritual directors—encouraging others in their search for God. This 2-session class will look particularly at “spiritual direction for contemplatives.”
Open to those currently serving as Spiritual Directors, as well as anyone wishing to learn more about the spiritual direction relationship and process.
Dates: 2 Wednesdays, Nov. 29 & Dec. 13 2017
Times: 3:30 – 5:00 pm
Location: Holy Wisdom Monastery Retreat & Guest House Sunroom
Cost: $40 covers both Wednesday gatherings.
