Praying the Psalms with Jesus presented by Richard Bruxvoort Colligan is a virtual retreat that took place Feb. 26-28, 2021. The recordings from this retreat are available for purchase by March 17, with the recordings accessible through April 4, 2021.
The Psalms are not only the ancient songs of Israel; they are the prayers that Jesus prayed. This enriching retreat includes an opening concert on Friday night; Psalm study, meditation, silent reflection, discussion, and lots of singing on Saturday; a prayer service on Saturday evening; and the Holy Wisdom Monastery Sunday Assembly worship service and a closing session on Sunday.

PresenterRichard Bruxvoort Colligan is a music composer and Psalms scholar serving across denominations. He earned his M.A. in Theology and the Arts from United Theological Seminary of the Twin Cities in St. Paul, MN and is working on his D.Ministry at Eden Seminary in St. Louis, MO. He serves part-time as Cantor of the Olive Branch ELCA community and is the weekly Psalm Correspondent on the Pulpit Fiction lectionary podcast. With several collections of original worship music, Richard’s songs have been published by five denominations.
