Outing to Nachusa Grasslands

Join the Friends of Wisdom Prairie on this unique outing to the Nachusa Grasslands in Franklin Grove, Illinois. Learn about this 3,800 acre grassland featuring a large remnant prairie, woodlands and wetlands—one of the most biologically diverse grasslands in Illinois. In 2014 the Nature Conservancy reintroduced bison to this successful prairie. We will visit the prairie, the bison and the visitor center. Bus transportation and box lunch will be provided. Maximum 50 people. Bring binoculars.

Register by July 23, 2019. There is limited space on the bus, so sign up early.
