Come and enjoy the beauty of the prairies, savannas and woodlands in the autumn. We might even see some birds and bees and other critters that live at Holy Wisdom Monastery. The prairie plants will be putting a lot of energy into food storage in their root system so that they can survive the winter and spring up again next year. The trees will shed their leaves to reduce water loss in the winter when the ground is frozen. Please join us to appreciate the spirit of the land in the autumn.
Naturalist Sylvia Marek and Greg Armstrong will lead the tour.
This event takes place outside at Holy Wisdom Monastery. No registration necessary, just come and bring your friends.
