“Our goal is to create a Beloved Community and this will require a qualitative change in our souls as well as a quantitative change in our lives.” – Martin Luther King Jr
Communities of Empowerment
The purpose of our Communities of Empowerment series is to make us more conscious of what is evolving in our Cosmic, World and our Community of Communities here at Holy Wisdom. We are all interconnected.
This series is evolving out of the new Board End: Members and guests of Holy Wisdom Monastery (HWM) work together in right relationship to learn, experience and practice Benedictine values through prayer, hospitality, justice and care for the earth. Members of these communities within the HWM community, challenge the boundaries of inclusion and actively participate in the life of HWM and its mission.
These presentations are for all our Holy Wisdom Monastery communities beginning on Feb. 15. All sessions will be held at Holy Wisdom Monastery from 10:00-11:30 am but will be recorded for future use. Each session will have a separate registration form. There is no charge to participants for the sessions. If you’d like to stay after for midday prayer and lunch, you need to choose the meal option and pay for your meal.
